SASC-y Christmas Sale

Over 50 vendors will be on hand for Friday's sixth annual Sexual Assault Survivors Centre Christmas and Craft sale.

Spokesperson Eve Morgan says this year it's being held from 5pm to 9:30pm at the Bayside Mall, in conjunction with First Friday festivities.

Proceeds from vendors fees go to SASC programs including the help line.

Admission is free but donations of baby, children's and adults new socks will be accepted.

New military crosswalk in Sarnia to be unveiled

As part of a partnership between the Sarnia Legion Branch 62 and City of Sarnia, an unveiling ceremony will be held at the corner of Christina Street and Wellington Street on Sunday, June 7, at 2 p.m.

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
