Winter Budget Deficit Better Than Expected

The City of Sarnia's winter maintenance is expected to be about $80,000 over budget, far less than what was anticipated earlier in the year.

Director of Finance Lisa Armstrong says a tame month of November has helped balance things after a busy start to 2015.

She says the late start to the winter weather has them in better shape than past years.

Armstrong says a $200,000 increase to the winter maintenance budget has been approved for next year.
