Hampton Inn Job Fair

There's a job fair this weekend as construction of Pt. Edward's Hampton Inn by Hilton nears completion.

Vrancor Group Director of Operations Peter Tosh says a general manager and sales director have already been hired but they need to fill 30 other positions including food attendants, maintenance workers and guest services representatives.

He says they'll have application forms on hand and interested applicants are asked to bring a resume.

Tosh says construction of the 95 room hotel is progressing well with carpet and furniture now being added to guest rooms.

It's hoped the hotel, with features including a swimming pool, fitness centre and meeting space, will open early in the new year.

The job fair is set for Saturday (December 12) and Sunday (December 13) from 10am until 1pm at the Ontario Travel Information Centre across the road from the hotel on Venetian Blvd.
