MacKinnon Acquitted Of All Charges

A 44-year-old Sarnia man with ties to various community and youth groups has been acquitted of all sex-related charges against him.

Glenn Aaron MacKinnon was charged in October 2014 with two counts of sexual exploitation allegedly involving a 16-year-old girl.

The Crown was unable to call further evidence and asked the judge to dismiss the charges Wednesday morning.

MacKinnon says he's happy to put this behind him, adding he was fortunate to have family and friends stand by his side during the last year, especially his wife. He says they helped him see the light at the end of the dark tunnel.
