There'll be reduced services over the Christmas holiday break. The post office is closed and there's no mail delivery Christmas Day Friday and Monday December 28th in lieu of Boxing Day falling on a Saturday this year. Most stores are closed Friday but some will be open for Boxing Day sales on the 26th. Banks and trust companies are closed Friday, Saturday, Sunday and Monday. Beer and LCBO outlets closed at 6pm Thursday and reopen Sunday. Sarnia Transit buses made their last run at 6:15pm Thursday and will be idle Friday and Saturday with regular Sunday service December 27. Sarnia City Hall is closed until Tuesday. There is no garbage collection in Sarnia Friday. It's delayed one day with regular collection ending Saturday.
