Continued Improvement At Sarnia Harbour In New Year

The city of Sarnia continues to make improvements at Sarnia Harbour after taking ownership from the federal government in March of 2014. The federal government has committed $8.7-million for improvements over the next 15 years. The north slip will be dredged next year to allow fully-loaded ships to berth for emergency repairs. The city has partnered with Bluewater Power to rebuild the shore-side electrical capacity at the docks. The city has also partnered with the village of Point Edward to rebuild Exmouth from Venetian Boulevard to the docks.
