Calling All Local Artists

The Judith & Norman Alix Art Gallery is now accepting submissions for the Look & See contest exhibition.

Artists who meet the requirements have the opportunity to receive a curatorial studio visit and have their art considered for short term installation at the gallery.

A full list of eligibility and proposal requirements can be found online at jnaag.ca.

Proposal applications can be mailed to or dropped off at the Judith & Norman Alix Art Gallery until 5pm on January 8.

Presentation dates at the gallery will take place March 11-20 and July 15-24 in 2016.

New military crosswalk in Sarnia to be unveiled

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
