Polar Dip Set For Sunday

The Pt. Edward Casino's Bet on Green Team and supporters are taking the polar dip this weekend in support of the World Wildlife Fund's Arctic Home Campaign.

Participants will meet at the Riding Club at 10am Sunday for the fifth annual event.

Casino Manager Nora Jennings says they typically raise $2,000 annually and they're hoping to exceed that number this year.

Jennings expects this year's event to be more tolerable for participants given the unseasonably warm weather.

She says spots are already full but donations can still be made at www.wwf.ca.
