The City of Sarnia's Finance Director says expenditures for last year's winter maintenance budget is on average with the past five years.
Lisa Armstrong says they're anticipating spending about $1.38-million for 2015, on par with the past five year average expenditure of $1.4-million per year.
She says Sarnia City Council had originally approved $1.2-million for last year.

Armstrong says they will pull from reserves to balance the budget.
Sarnia's 2016 budget took effect January 1st. About $1.4-million has been put aside for winter maintenance expenditures.
