LamSar Expanding

LamSar has purchased the former Century Truss property on Polymoore Dr. in Corunna and 10 acres of vacant land to the south.

The over 30 acre purchase will allow the industrial contracting company better access to the railway, and a spot on the proposed heavy haul corridor.

Company President Paul Healy says they were in need of additional space to build heavy modules.

"It gives us more area for us to build modules on, our nine acres in Sarnia was getting kind of small," says Healy.

Healy says part of the land will house the civil division with heavy excavators and dozers.

The purchase price for the land has not been disclosed.
