No Injuries In Shell Fire

The cause of a fire at Shell on Thursday is under investigation.

Spokesperson Randy Provencal says the small blaze it happened around 3:30pm in the sulfur containment area at the Sarnia refinery.

He say the fire was immediately extinguished by a processor operator and as a precaution nearby personnel were removed.

No injuries are reported and operations were not affected.

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
