Sarnia Heritage Week Displays

Residents can take a walk down memory lane this week.

As part of Heritage Week, Sarnia Heritage Committee Chair Wayne Wager says photographic and information displays will be set up at both malls.

"We have pictures of the downtown, with various different views of the old stores, the people that are down there shopping. We have pictures of trolley cars that used to run downtown and up Colborne St.," he says.

"We'll have somebody there to discuss some of the pictures and what they're about."

The display is at the Bayside Centre near the food court until Sunday from 9:30am until closing.

A similar display plus an information table will be set up at the Lambton Mall Thursday until Sunday.
