Sarnia Hiring For Summer Positions

The city of Sarnia is now accepting applications for its student summer jobs program.

HR Manager Chris Armstrong says the jobs are open to anyone who is planning to go to school in the fall.

He says there are a total of 84 openings in various positions including lifeguards, public works, camp leaders, parks maintenance , and clerical jobs.

Armstrong says experience is not necessary, but is certainly a good asset.

He says increased Federal funding for the government's youth summer jobs program doesn't impact the city's program because they get money from the province instead.

Information and application forms are available at www.sarnia.ca.

You can email HR@sarnia.ca with your resume before February 29.
