Serious Injuries In Enniskillen Crash Wednesday

A 78-year-old man suffered serious life threatening injuries in a two-vehicle crash in Enniskillen Township late Wednesday morning.

Lambton OPP say a pickup truck travelling eastbound on LaSalle Line came into collision with a northbound SUV on Mandaumin Rd. at about 10:45am.

Police, EMS and Enniskillen firefighters responded.

Both drivers were transported to hospital. The 65-year-old man driving the SUV sustained serious but non-life threatening injuries.

Roads in the area were closed for about two hours.

Police say the investigation continues and charges are pending.

Anyone with information about the crash is asked to contact police.

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
