Charity Hockey Game Exceeds Expectations

A St. Patrick's high school charity hockey game between the boys hockey team and teachers exceeded the wildest expectations of organizers.

Blake Morrison says over 500 people attended the event at Clearwater Arena February 19 in support of Taylor Scott, a Grade 10 student battling cancer.

Morrison said Wednesday that over $5,000 had been raised with donations still coming in to the school.

Proceeds are going to Ronald McDonald House.
