OPP Clean Up After Thursday Crashes

Lambton OPP and tow trucks were busy pulling vehicles out of ditches along the westbound Hwy. 402 Friday afternoon following bad weather Thursday.

Constable Travis Parsons says during Thursday's bad weather, they received about 30 reports of vehicles sliding off the road.

"Due to the weather conditions yesterday, we were unable to remove anything so, as of 7am, the OPP and various tow companies have been working hard especially on the westbound [Hwy. 402] near Nauvoo Rd."

Motorists were told to expect some delays and intermittent lane closures along the 402 throughout the day Friday as vehicles are removed from ditches and medians.

No serious injuries were reported in any of the collisions.
