Bowl For Kids Sake Saturday

Big Brothers Big Sisters of Sarnia-Lambton is hosting its annual Bowl For Kids Sake Saturday.

Executive Director Michael Hurry says they will have a live band during the evening and several prize giveaways as well.

He says the organization relies on support from the community.

"Two things we always constantly have to be doing is maintaining a public profile so that people realize that we're around and we have lots of kids that would really benefit from having a volunteer in their life to help them," he says. "And the fact that we don't get any government funding, means we need to raise all the money to run the agency from the community."

Hurry says they have two time slots at Marcin Bowl for Saturday, a family bowl at 4pm and adult bowling at 7pm.

Those wanting to sign up can call Big Brothers Big Sisters at 519-336-0460.
