Despite missing the postseason, the Lambton Shores Predators took home some hardware at the GOJHL's Western Conference awards banquet Monday.

Defenceman Franco Sproviero and forward Ethan Sarfati were named GOJHL Western Conference first team all-stars.

Sarfarti also won the Hugh McLean Award for top regular season scorer while Sproviero was named the top defenceman in the Conference.

Petrolia native Connor McKinnon, who plays for Chatham, was also named to the first all-star team.

Tyler Wall of Leamington was named rookie of the year, Carson Brookshaw of the St. Thomas Stars was named CHOK player of the year, and Leamington netminders Tyler Wall and Michael Barrett picked up the Roy Caley Award for lowest goals against.

The Sarnia Legionnaires didn't receive any awards or all-star nods.
