Early Morning Rollover Sends One To Hospital

A 21-year-old man was taken to Bluewater Health following a single-vehicle rollover in Sarnia.

The Sarnia Police Services, Sarnia firefighters and EMS responded to Indian Rd. S, just south of Plank Rd. around 2:15am Friday.

The lone occupant was taken to hospital for treatment of what are described as non-life threatening injuries.

He has been charged with impaired driving and failing to provide a breath sample. He is scheduled to appear in Sarnia court on March 22.

Indian Rd. S was closed between Plank Rd. and Churchill Rd. for about ten hours while police investigated the crash.

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
