Police Recover Swords, Other Stolen Items

Sarnia police are looking for the rightful owners of some unique property recovered during a drug search warrant in the 400 block of Devine St. March 2.

During the raid officers recovered a samurai sword, a fencing sword, and costume jewellery with the tags still attached.

Police aren't saying whether the items are related to a January theft from a St. Clair Pkwy home near Corunna where items including two Odachi samurai swords were stolen.

Anyone with information is asked to call Sarnia police of Crime Stoppers.

New military crosswalk in Sarnia to be unveiled

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
