Gladu Promotes Womens Empowerment

Sarnia-Lambton's MP is promoting women's empowerment for International Women's Day.

Marilyn Gladu, who's also Chair of the Parliamentary Status of Women Committee, is calling on community members to honour those who inspire them by tagging them on Twitter.

Gladu will also be taking part in the conversation, sharing the names of several local female leaders using the hashtag #YouAreEmpowerment.

MP Gladu believes equity for all is the key for communities and the country to live up to its full potential.

'Women's Empowerment Leads to Equality' is the nation-wide theme for this year's International Women's Day.
