Return Of The Swans

Thousands of Tundra Swans are arriving in north Lambton, touching down at the Thedford Bog to feed and rest as they migrate to the Arctic.

Lambton Heritage Museum event coordinator Gwen Watson says the birds are right on time this year after a late arrival following last year's frigid winter.

"The best spot to see the majestic white birds is along Lambton County Rd. 5 or Greenway Rd. off Highway 21 N.," says Watson.

"They're arriving just in time for our Return of the Swans event that begins this Saturday and runs until April 3."
