St. Pat's Robotics Team Wins Regional Competition

The St. Patrick's Robotics team has qualified for a prestigious international championship in St. Louis, Missouri.

They advanced by winning the Greater Toronto Central Regional Competition at Ryerson University.

This is the first time St. Pats has qualified for the championship and the first time they have won a regional competition.

The American competition in April, will have teams build robots from aluminum, control boards, 12V batteries and programming software.

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
