Hatchery Open House This Weekend

It's the biggest weekend of the year at the Bluewater Anglers' Hatchery.

Director Brad Armstrong says they hosting their annual open house from 10am-4pm Saturday and Sunday.

"Our big release will be the salmon with 80,00 Chinook released," he says. "We also have 35,000 Rainbow and 25,000 Brown trout, usually around the end of April. They're all difference sizes and are really interesting to see."

Armstrong says they've made some major improvements this past year and they're always looking for new members.

The hatchery is located under the Bluewater Bridge in Pt. Edward.
