Local Team Needs Votes In Cheer Contest

The Lambton Shores Minor Hockey Novice Rep team needs your help to win the ultimate NHL experience.

After winning the regional Home Town Hockey team cheer contest in December, the team is now entered into the national competition.

Parent Rep. Kathy Oulds says winning the contest would be a perfect cap off to a great season.

"They've had such a fantastic year, they just won their OMHA's and regional and international Silver Stick," says Oulds.

"To win be able to win this Hometown Hockey Cheer would be like the cherry on the cake for them."

The winning team gets a trip to Vancouver to watch a Canucks game, a meet and greet with players and alumni, and a chance to perform the cheer in the Canucks dressing room.

You can vote daily from March 27 until April 1 at www.hometownhockey.com/cheer.
