Police say sometime between 12pm and 5pm, someone entered the home in the 1000 block of Lakeshore and stole a large amount of money and medication.
Watches and black onyx rings were also taken.
Anyone with information is asked to contact the Sarnia Police Service or Crime Stoppers.
