Fentanyl Patch (Photo courtesy of Sarnia Police Services Patch 4 Patch presentation June 3, 2015)A 29-year-old pregnant woman is in Sarnia police custody following an investigation by Vice Unit officers for allegedly trafficking in Fentanyl.
Police say a search of the suspect around 5:15pm Wednesday in the 500-block of Exmouth St., revealed Fentanyl with a street value of over $900, and a large quantity of cash.
The accused is charged with possession of Fentanyl for the purpose of trafficking and was being held pending a bail hearing.
Her name has not yet been released.
People in southern Huron and Lambton counties are being told to limit their time outside.
