Legion Receives Fresh Coat Of Paint

On Saturday and Sunday, many volunteers will paint the exterior of Sarnia's Royal Canadian Legion branch.

Members with Lambton Metals, Sure Sign, Hertz Rental, Aluma, Glidden Deluxe Paint and Rick Labelle of the Painters' Union will be giving up their weekend to help touch it up.

Vice President Heather Lindsay says there is a lot of work that needs to be done.

"It's in dire need for one thing," says Lindsay. "Also we're celebrating our 90th anniversary this year, later on in the year. It would look kind of nice if it looked pretty."

Lindsay says she wants the community to recognize the good work from the volunteers.
