UPDATE: Petrolia Woman Dies In Single-Vehicle Rollover

Lambton OPP say a 37-year-old Petrolia woman was killed in a single-vehicle rollover crash late Thursday afternoon in St. Clair Township.

Sandra McKelvie-Brown died when a westbound SUV left Petrolia Line just west of Waubuno Rd. around 4:45pm, entered the ditch and rolled several times, coming to rest in a farmer's field.

Police now say McKelvie-Brown was a passenger in the vehicle, not the driver as originally reported. She was pronounced dead at the scene.

The driver has been identified as 63-year-old Grace McDaid.

A 37-year-old male passenger and two children, aged 1 and 5, were taken to hospital with unknown injuries. All of the occupants are from Petrolia.

Anyone who witnessed the crash is asked to contact Lambton OPP or Crime Stoppers.
