Downtown Block Party Supports Mental Health

A block party fundraiser is being held Friday evening in support of Bluewater Health.

The Do it for Sarnia initiative, spearheaded by Sarnia's own Dan Edwards, aims to raise $150,000 for the mental health department.

Local musicians, The Eric Ethridge Band and The Rapids will perform at the event, held from 5pm to 11pm in front of Refined Fool Brewing Co.

As a result, Davis St. will be closed from Christina to Julia streets for much of the evening.

Tickets are sold out, but a limited number will be available at the door on a first come, first served basis.
