Another season of live harness racing begins at Hiawatha Horse Park Saturday.
Owner Jim Henderson says they're offering 21 races this year, the same as last year, along with simulcast racing each Thursday, Friday and Saturday.
"They use the staff from the driving range and different parts of the business and everybody kind of moves back and forth," says Henderson. "We also hire a bunch of students for the summer and some retirees come back and help us out."
Henderson says more Americans are attending the Sarnia track because of simulcasting, which will include the Kentucky Derby Saturday.
