Lane Restrictions At The Blue Water Bridge

You might want to give yourself some extra time if you're heading stateside via the Blue Water Bridge.

Starting Monday May 9, the westbound span will be reduced to one lane for a major painting project.

As the project progresses and the Michigan Department of Transportation (MDOT) removes equipment, more lanes will open, although no schedule has been set for that yet.

The entire project is expected to wrap up sometime in November.
