Rapids Family Health Team Growing

The Rapids Family Health Team's revamped website is aimed at providing easier access to users and giving them more information than before.

Health Promoter Cynthia McColeman says there are now 40 physicians involved with the health team.

She says the new site includes a list of physicians and whether they are accepting patients.

"We're trying out best to make sure that its updated," says McColeman.

"One of the challenges as we print a list, if the physicians rosters close after they've been open, the hospital and ourselves are giving out lists that are outdated and of course with an electronic list we can update it on a moments notice."

The site also features links to health articles and resources, and event calendar, and more.
