A Pt. Edward man is $100,000 richer after matching six of seven winning numbers with Encore. Colin Fairbairn says he thought the clerk was playing a joke on him when he found out he was a big winner. He plans on celebrating with a trip to Prince Edward Island with his wife this summer, where the couple honeymooned 35 years ago. He says some of the money will also go towards a down payment on a house for their son. The winning ticket was purchased at Point Variety on Michigan Ave. in Pt. Edward.
