One Person Struck and Killed By CNR Train

A male pedestrian has been struck and killed by an eastbound CNR train.

The incident occurred at around 3:25am Sunday, east of Camlachie Rd. and south of Confederation Line in the town of Plympton-Wyoming.

Members of the Lambton OPP, the OPP West Region Identification Unit, CNR Police and the Regional Coroner's Office continue to investigate.

The name of the deceased has not been released.
