UPDATE: Barn Fire On Petrolia Line

Petrolia Line re-opened to traffic from Fairweather to Mandaumin roads early Tuesday afternoon after a barn fire in the early morning hours.

The blaze at Lennan Farms in the 3000 block of Petrolia Line, broke out just before 5:30 Tuesday morning.

A total of 50 firefighters from the Petrolia, St. Clair Township and Wyoming Fire departments responded.

Petrolia Fire Chief Lawrence Swift confirms all livestock, as well as two of four barns were saved.

Damage is estimated around $500,000, no word on the cause.

New military crosswalk in Sarnia to be unveiled

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
