Online Auction To Support For Mac

The Wyoming, Petrolia and Camlachie volunteer Fire Departments are holding an online auction to raise money for the Canadian Red Cross relief efforts in Fort McMurray.

The Fire Chiefs Association has already donated $1,000.

Wyoming Fire Chief Mike Vasey says they're accepting items that will be auctioned through VanKlaveren Auctions Inc.

He says they're accepting a wide range of donations.

"With all the fire departments involved we're hoping to cover the whole county," says Vasey. "We're looking for goods, services, anything from a gift certificate to somebody willing to cut your grass."

Vasey says tax receipts will be offered for the donated items.

They wont be accepting clothing, stuffed toys, books, old mattresses or expired car seats.

He says if you want to donate something you can do so at youcanbid.ca or by getting a hold of your local fire chief.

The online auction is 8am-8pm on June 2.
