Extensive Damage In Single Vehicle Crash

Lambton OPP are investigating a single vehicle crash that happened Wednesday morning on Hwy. 40, just south of Rokeby Line in St. Clair Township.

Police, ambulance, and St. Clair Township firefighters were called to the scene around 5:30am.

Police say investigation revealed a black Dodge Dakota pickup truck was travelling southbound when it lost control, left the road, and entered the ditch causing extensive damage.

As a result, a 47-year-old man sustained minor injuries and has been charged with careless driving.

Police are appealing for witnesses to the crash. Anyone with information is asked to call the OPP or Crime Stoppers.

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
