Rayjon Plant Sale At Degroot's

You can spruce up your garden, support the bee and butterfly population and support a good cause at the same time.

Rayjon spokesperson Dianne McKillican says they're holding their annual plant sale beginning Friday at Degroot's Nursereries. This year they're selling Dipladenia plants which are known to attract bees and butterflies.

"Last year we had a hummingbird planter that sold out in two and a half hours," she says. "This year we have lots of plants. There will be no shortage."

Each plant costs $25 or two for $40.

The sale takes place Friday June 3rd through Sunday June 5th at Degroot's on London Line.

All proceeds will be used to support Rayjon projects in Haiti. They have two grade schools and a high school in the St. Marc area as well as two adult literacy programs and a children's nutritional program.
