Employment Survey Expects Hiring Increase

Express Employment Professionals has released a new survey on hiring trends in the second quarter of this year.

Marketing Director Garrett Hein says 46% of the new hires will come in the industrial sector.

"Some of the larger companies are taking an opportunity to look at talent with their succession plans," he says. "They're seeing what's available and if there is a potential hole in their operation, they're trying to grab some of the talent that's available."

Businesses indicated the top three departments for hiring were production, sales and logistics, while the accounting sector planned to eliminate positions.
