Two Impaired Drivers Arrested Sunday

Sarnia Police arrested a pair of impaired drivers over the weekend.

Around 1:40pm on Sunday, police received a call about a possible impaired driver leaving Artwalk downtown.

Officers stopped the vehicle in the area of Cromwell St. and Victoria St. and it's alleged the 58-year-old male driver blew three times the legal limit.

He was held until sober and released on a promise to appear.

Just before 11pm Sunday, officers responded to a disturbance on East St. When police arrived they located the vehicle involved in the disturbance attempting to park.

They say a 53-year-old woman inside refused to provide a breath sample or any other information.

She was arrested for impaired driving and held for a bail hearing.

In total, Sarnia police attended 152 calls for service including eight thefts and five mischief calls since Friday.
