Corunna Hosts Firefighter's Field Days

The 39th annual Firefighter's Field Days gets underway this weekend in Corunna.

The annual tradition is aimed at spreading fire safety and awareness to area residents.

Firefighter Mark Perrin says Saturday's activities include a parade at 11am, mock fire rooms, extinguisher demonstrations, inflatables and kids games.

The weekend kicks off Friday night with local band Chemical Valley taking the stage at the firehall at 8pm.

Bands Fake Low and Ropers will cap off the weekend with a concert at 8pm Saturday.

Each concert is $5 but the rest of the weekend is free. Donations are being accepted, and all of the funds raised will support community activities in St. Clair Twp.
