Sarnia's ARTZscape By The Bay has been chosen as a destination event by Festival Events Ontario.
Committee Chair Sandi Grimshaw says it will bring the show invaluable exposure.
"They have a huge following," she says. "I think they get around 100,000 hits on their website. That's where everybody goes to find out information about events being held around the province."
Festival Events Ontario was established in 1987 as an association devoted to the growth and stability of the festival and event industry in the province.
Grimshaw says it may the first time that representatives from Festival Events Ontario have visited the Sarnia area.
Festival Events Ontario will be in Sarnia August 20 and 21.
The fourth annual ARTZscape By The Bay will be held in Centennial Park.
