Another Busy Weekend Across Sarnia-Lambton

It's another busy weekend in Sarnia-Lambton.

The 15th annual Sarnia Relay For Life is this Friday evening.

Opening ceremonies are at 6pm, followed by the survivor victory lap.

Aamjiwnaang's 55th annual Pow Wow is this weekend.

Gates open Saturday and Sunday at 10am with grand entries at noon and 6pm each day.

Wyoming volunteer firefighters are serving bacon burgers for the 39th year today and Saturday at the fire hall.

Friday from 4pm-9pm and Saturday from 7am-1pm.

Lambton County's Breakfast on the Farm is being held Saturday in Wyoming. Tickets have all been allocated on Eventbrite.ca.

The Drive 'N' Jive car show is on Saturday at the Grand Bend Main Beach.

Registration is on from 10am-2pm with the car cruise set to follow.

New military crosswalk in Sarnia to be unveiled

As part of a partnership between the Sarnia Legion Branch 62 and City of Sarnia, an unveiling ceremony will be held at the corner of Christina Street and Wellington Street on Sunday, June 7, at 2 p.m.

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
