Huron House Boys Home Marks 30 Years

It's a milestone year for the Huron House Boy's Home Run with the 30th annual event set for June 19.

Routes begin and end at Mike Weir Park, where there will be a post race breakfast provided by the local Tim Hortons.

Executive Director Don Adam says there's a couple of ways to register.

"Registration is available online at raceroster.com or through the Huron House Boys Home website," says Adam. "You can also register at Lambton Mall Friday night and Saturday June 18."

The event offers a 5 km fun run, 5 km walk, 10 km race, a 7 km for bikes and roller skates, and a 20 km and 40 km route for bicycles.

Adam says they hope to raise about $30,000.

All proceeds for the Fathers Day event supports the non-profit home, which is a provincially accredited children's mental health facility.
