Accused Makes Court Appearance In Pike Murder

One of the two Sarnia men charged with first degree murder in the death of Jonathan Patrick Pike made a video appearance in Sarnia court Monday morning.

30-year-old Lee Joseph Dion appeared from the Central North Correctional Centre.

The case has been adjourned until July 4 to allow for further disclosure.

45-year-old Warren Eric Williams is also charged with first degree murder in Pike's death.

Sarnia Police have also issued an arrest warrant for Victoria Hailey Burridge, the 27-year-old is charged with accessory after the fact.

The body of Jonathan Pike, 26 of Sarnia, was found by police in a wooded area just west of Tashmoo Ave. during the early morning hours on Friday March 25.

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
