Closed For The Holiday

Friday is Canada Day.

The post office will be closed and no mail delivery is scheduled.

Banks and trust sompanies and most stores, including beer and LCBO stores will be closed for the holiday.

Government offices are also closed tomorrow.

Sarnia Transit is offering special service running between downtown and Canatara Park throughout the day. There are also buses running from Northgate to Canatara.

Cost is only $1 per person and tickets and passes are being accepted.

Garbage pickup in Sarnia is normal Friday.

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
