Murray McLaughlin Steps Down as BIC Boss

Murray McLaughlin is stepping down as Executive Director of Bioindustrial Innovation Canada. (BIC) BIC's goal has been to position the Sarnia-Lambton region as a world-scale hybrid chemistry cluster. McLaughlin has been with BIC since its inception in 2013 but says with recently announced funding by the province, it was time for fresh leadership to continue to grow the alliance. Sandy Marshall has taken over the reins as executive director after acting as chair for the past three years. Marshall has spent 30 years in various capacities with Polysar, Bayer and Lanxess. Bill White, a retired President of DuPont Canada, takes over as chair of the BIC board. McLaughlin will continue on in the role of government and partner relations.
