KFC Closing In Petrolia And Forest

The Kentucky Fried Chicken restaurant's in Petrolia and Forest will close at years end.

Franchise owner Cathy Cullis says their contract is expiring December 31 and they were not offered any contract renewal options.

Cullis says KFC corporation doesn't see a business model going forward for small towns.

She says it's the same reason why the location in Corunna closed and why the city of Sarnia went from having three locations to one.

Cullis says all of the staff are very aware of the plans. The resturant closures will impact approximately 26 employees.
