The Ontario Provincial Police say on Wednesday around 7am, a pickup truck collided with a tractor trailer that was stopped in the westbound lanes of the highway, in the area of Christina St.  The tractor trailer was stopped due to traffic congestion at Bluewater Bridge.

A 68-year-old Sarnia man was taken to hospital with non-life threatening injuries as a result of the crash.

The westbound lanes were blocked for about an hour while the highway was cleared.

Police say the investigation is ongoing and charges are pending.
